Years 7 and 8 Underwater Hockey 2025

Underwater Hockey will be offered depending on sufficient numbers registering and the availability of parents to manage the teams. Year 7 and 8s take part in Mini Legaues, which are held monthly. 

If there is insufficient interest, the Year 7 and 8 students will be allowed to play in our junior teams with the Year 9 and 10 students.

LEVELS              

Years 7 and 8. 

TERMS                

Terms 1 and 4.

TEAM SIZE

Ideal team of 8-10 girls. 6 in the pool at one time.

GAME LENGTH

2 x 7-minute halves, with a 2-minute break in between.

COST                

Aprox $18 per league dependant on registration numbers.

COMPETITION
Mini Leagues: Small tournaments that are run at Huia Pool.

League dates TBC.

PRACTICES            
Students are invited to train with the Year 9 and 10 teams.

UNIFORM

Students must have the school togs. All of the equipment for games can be hired poolside on the day.
