YEAR 9-13 VOLLEYBALL 2024


LEVELS          

Years 9 - 13 (Year 8s will have the opportunity to take part in Term 4, please feel free to register interest now and the Sports Department will be in touch). 


TERMS           

Term 1 and 4


TEAM SIZE

The ideal number is 10-12 players. There are 6 on the court at one time.


GAME LENGTH

Senior A plays the best of 5 sets (first to 3 sets). Other senior and junior teams play the best of 3 sets, however it is recommended that teams always play 3 full sets (so scores can be 3-0 or 2-1) to ensure students are all getting to play a good amount of volleyball each week. These games go for approximately an hour. 


COST              

$110 per term (includes coach fee and regional tournament costs) for Senior A & Junior A teams

$80 per term for teams who do not attend a regional tournament but do have a coach

$50 per term for social teams

UNIFORM 
School volleyball shirt and black shorts (must be plain black) white socks.

All uniforms can be purchased from NZ Uniforms.

Players will also need to get a number put on to the back of their top by the NZ Uniforms store. Please contact Rosie to confirm what numbers are available before doing this.
