On Thursday 4th April 2024, MABC will be hosting the next Any Combo Triples Gala, sponsored by Steinlager.  There will be great prizes up for grabs and raffles, including Steinlager merchandise, so get your team of three together and enter ASAP (limited to 32 teams).  The cost is $30 per team and afternoon tea is provided.  Start time is 11am with 3 games of 1hr 10.  To register, email [email protected] or phone Christine on 021 0690680.

The winter season of indoor bowls and mahjong is well underway. We have four teams representing the club in the Winter Fours indoor tournament at Naenae on Wednesdays.  Last month we held our AGM with a good turn out of members and all positions on committees have been filled.  Many thanks to outgoing President, Frances Turner and we welcome in the new President, Warren Henson.  The match committee has met recently and the new bowls season is in the planning stage.  Opening Day will be held on 2nd September 2023.
