ABOUT

Our MBC Cricket teams compete in traditional exchange games. In January, the 1st XI competes in the annual Quad tournament which includes Rathkeale College, Hutt International Boys School and Nelson College. We also host an invitational Quad Tournament involving Auckland Grammar School, Christ’s College, and Otago Boys’ High School.

Alongside these tournaments we also play traditional fixtures and exchanges as well as local competition that is used as a qualifier for the national Gillete Cup competition.

Our Junior teams play in traditional fixtures and exchanges in January and October/November. The Junior XI plays in the annual South Island Junior Cricket Festival.

The 1^st XI team also participates in several inter-school events as well as regional and national tournaments throughout Terms 2 and 3.

For 1st XI, all playing uniform will be provided by the school.

For junior cricket, playing tops are provided.
