At MBC we have three Football teams (1^st XI, 2^nd XI and Junior XI), who compete in traditional fixtures and exchanges.

The 1^st XI team also participates in regional qualifier matches and the national secondary school tournament throughout Terms 2 & 3.

The Junior XI team participates in the South Island Junior secondary school tournament in Term 3.
