MANGERE BRIDGE VIPERS

Formed in 2015, Mangere Bridge Vipers Netball Club Inc. is a family-orientated, multicultural Club that promotes, encourages & enjoys the game of netball. 

MB Vipers play netball in the Mangere Otahuhu Netball Centre Competition which is located at Bader Courts (Court Town Close) in Mangere.

We cater for all ages from Primary through to Ladies Grade.

We welcome everyone wanting to play competitively and socially!

Roll forward 10 years and we are proud to say we are still going strong. Over the past 5 years the club has doubled in strength, with the introduction of our Mini Vipers -Yrs 1-4, we are able to welcome more whanau which is fantastic to see.

2023 we trialed Tag  - a summer alternative for our Junior members- it was a huge success!
We introduced Tag to the community in 2024,  offering 4 grades including open age for those over 18. We also were successful in sourcing funding to purchase training gear and Club apparel, to unify us and make the teams part of the MB Vipers whanau. 

With the introduction of Tag the committee thought it would be an opportunity to do some upgrades, with the 10th Anniversary approaching in 2025, what better time to do it.

Upgrades during the 2024 netball season were discussed and the introduction of Sky Blue into the Club dresses made our teams stand out among thr crowds, and with 15 teams in the 2024 competition, we were hard to be missed.  

Our logo was updated to include the Sky Blue and we changed our club name to ....

• Competition grades (Primary thru to Ladies)

• Registrations will open on 20th January 2025 and close on 10th March 2025.

• NB -late registrations will only be accepted if required to fill teams.

• Mini Vipers Registrations:

• Registrations for Mini Vipers will open on 24th February 2025.

• Trials and Team Finalization:

• Trials for competition team placements will take place throughout February , with teams finalized by 29th February.

• Grading Primary - Ladies:

• The first grading will take place wknd of 21st March , Intermediate and College games are played on a Friday night. Primary and Ladies on Saturdays. There will be 3 grading rounds.
  All games will be played at Mangere Otahuhu Netball Centre (except our Open College who will also play in the competition @ Auckland Netball Centre.
