Melville Rugby & Sports Club was established in 1959, and celebrated its 50th jubilee in 2009.
We are a Premier Club, with our Premier A team taking the Haswell Catley trophy three times, in 1979, 1981, and most recently in 2016.
We have five senior rugby teams, Premier A & B, Under 85, Womens, and Presidents. Our Womens team have won the premier competition three years in a row, and our Under 85s team are 2019 Waikato champions.
We also boast several netball teams, which play at various levels of the Hamilton Netball competition.
