The Hawkes Bay Men's Evergreens Team cordially invites all competing provinces to the NZ National Evergreens Softball Tournament to be held at Akina Park, Hastings.

Meet N Greet on Thursday 28 February 2019 at Clubs Hastings, 308 Victoria Street, Hastings from 5pm and the AGM/Managers meeting will start at 7.00pm. Max 2 sober delegates per team please.

In order to speed things up, we require any subjects you want discussed and obituaries mentioned at the AGM to be tabled to me (Tony Elers) by 20 February 2019. Please return trophies at the AGM.

Tournament play on Friday March 1st and Saturday March 2nd 2019.

All of last years 16 teams are confirmed for 2019 Hawkes Bay with the addition of Manawatu, whom we welcome back to the Evergreens family.

*SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:

Last year in Wellington, we (Hawke’s Bay) took the opportunity to photograph four of the legends of our sport that happened to be at the park. During the intervening 12 months we have had the photo signed by the four men (Bill Massey, John Dawson, Owen Walford, and Brian Wareham). Surrounding the photo is a resume of the softball achievements of each of the men. We have the photo on good quality photograph paper and offering them at $20.00 each (payable at the Hastings tournament). Frame not included. We believe these would be of value to those of us who fondly remember them. Regards Hawkes Bay.
