Menzies College has traditionally outperformed the expectations that would normally be held for a school of our size. Students are encouraged to participate in, and given opportunities to excel at, a wide variety of sporting codes. Many students gain provincial representation and others go on to perform at a national level.
The major school events for the year are the athletics sports and cross country for House points while netball, volleyball, basketball, soccer, cricket, hockey and rugby are all major sports in the school with good participation numbers. Coaching is at a high level with the community coaches and school staff heavily committed to skill development and winning results. All sports are available to both boys and girls.
