WELCOME TO
Mercury Bay Bowling and Sports Club’s website.

We are centrally located in Whitianga at 92 Cook Drive. We currently have approximately 80 playing members and are actively welcome new members.

We have;

  • Weekly social/practice bowls at 12.30 pm (bowling starts at 1pm), every Thursday and Sunday. This may change if we have a weekend tournament scheduled. 
  • Casual sessions on Fridays at 4.30pm, when the clubrooms and bar facilities will be open.
  • Coaching sessions are held on Tuesdays for new and active bowlers.

Whether you’re looking for; companionship, lessons, social bowls or looking to compete in tournaments, we can tailor a membership option for you. With two all-weather playing surfaces we can cater for small and large tournaments.

We have a spacious Clubroom with kitchen, bar facilities and ample off-street parking. Our venue is available for hire for events, functions and conferences. We invite you to inspect our facilities and we are more than happy to discuss membership options.
