Want to stay involved with Rugby?

Want to keep fit and meet new people?

Have a love for Rugby?

There are many reasons people take up the whistle. Many find it is a great way to stay involved with rugby. After your playing days are over you can still take part in the game you love, and you get the best seat in the house.

We have referees from young to old - or more wise and mature - and Manawatu Rugby Referees are committed to training and developing us all.  All referees are assigned a referee coach who will really help your development.

We hold weekly training meetings during the season. This is a great way to share ideas and experinces and really improve knowledge of Rugby Law.

We will give you a whistle and all the gear and training to help you succeed - all you need is a love of the game and a pair of boots.
