Subject : Appointment of new NBF General Manager

The board of Nelson Bays Football (NBF) has appointed Nic Foster as its new general manager. He will start in the role on May 1 and replaces Clive Beaumont who resigned in early March. Foster comes into the role with more than 13 years’ experience in local football but he also brings an entrepreneurial management background from within the arts sector.

He has created and managed Art Expo Nelson since 2012 and developed the show into a nationally recognised success.

NBF chair Matt Watson is excited about the appointment

“Nic brings a fresh approach to the role and has expertise across a lot of areas the association can really use at this moment. He knows the footballing landscape and understands the importance of a sporting association’s need to future proof its aspirations with sound strategic planning.”

The association is also looking to appoint an operations manager for the Tasman United youth and national league teams.
