Be responsible for the overall welfare and well being of team members, management and team officials when assembled as a team.
Maintain a duty of care towards and be accountable for team members, management and officials of the team.
Have a thorough working knowledge of Nelson Softball Association policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure that team matters and behaviours are conducted in accordance with these.
Advocate a sporting environment free of drugs and other performance enhancing substances in line with the guidelines of Drug Free Sport New Zealand.
Foster and facilitate a collaborative approach to the management of the team.
