Kia ora, my name is Crystal Wilkinson and I am super excited to be joining the Netball Mainland team as the Pathways Lead. I'm an active, energetic, mum, wife, daughter, sister, friend and accomplished business women. I love fitness and exercise, playing sport, being adventurous, organising, travelling and helping people achieve physical wellness, and spending time with my 2 beautiful daughters. 

I live in Christchurch, with my husband Peter and daughters, Grace and Isla.  

People say I’m highly competitive, give a hundred percent effort in everything I do and I’m always working toward being number-one. My clients, companies, and netball teams will testify to this! 

After graduating from the Auckland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Sport and Recreation Degree, I worked as a Corporate Personal Trainer in the five star, Hyatt Hotel’s Spa and Fitness Centre in Auckland, established my own company, YouCan Ltd, and worked as an Emerging Talent Co-ordinator for Tactix Netball. 

At other times, you’ll find me running in the Port Hills, training for 30-60km trial running races, surfing the waves in Sumner, mountain biking at the adventure park, or snowboarding the slopes in the Southern Alps. I was privileged to play in the Wellington NPC Netball Team in 2014 and 2015, with the Wellington team winning nationals in 2015. 

I’m extremely passionate about helping netball players achieve their goals. It’s my desire to help athletes make their way up the netball ladder, competing at the highest level possible, and creating a pathway for this to be possible.
