Centres can apply for funding from NNZ if you are wanting to run a volunteer initiative during the 2024 season. This initiative must be run in 2024 and finish before 30 November 2024. There is a limited amount of funding and once this funding is given out, no further applications will be accepted. 

To be eligible the Centre must be affiliated with NNZ. To apply for this funding, Centres must already have a Volunteer Management Plan (VMP) in progress OR completed. This must be attached to the application at the time of completion. 

The amount applied for must relate to a volunteer related expense and must have the outcome of increasing volunteer recruitment, retention, or recognition. For example, to buy new volunteer vests/jackets, host a volunteer dinner or purchase a new volunteer trophy. This expense will have to be justified or shown how figure was arrived at. 

Centres interested need to complete an application for the amount they need. A guideline amount is to apply for up to $1000 per Centre. A detailed cost breakdown must be shown in the application. For more information, please contact Lou Milne on [email protected] Ph 021 434 407
