At the beginning of March Sport Tasman in Partnership with Nelson Netball Centre flew Irene Van Dyk, Netball NZ Participation Manager, into Nelson to present to Nelson Netball Centre members, School Principals, Sports Leaders and School Student Leaders around her journey and reasons why she believes supporting the Balance is Better philosophy is key in developing our rangatahi. 

Kiana Gallon, Mainland’s Netball Smart Development Officer and I were privileged to go to support all of Irene's presentations and connect with the Nelson Netball Centre members with some pre-season rep testing and a funding presentation session. 

It was awesome to see Sport Tasman leading support in this space across the wider sport sector.
