This is a unique development programme which is being offered to some of our community coaches with the intention of accelerating their development towards becoming a more confident and capable coach in future. 

This Next Level Coaching (NLC) Programme is an exciting collaboration between six sporting organisations to support their coaches with the purpose being to help cultivate coaches who are more innovative and critical thinkers. 

Through the collaboration of the six sporting organisations the resource pool that these coaches will be exposed to is far greater, leading to exposure to different ideas, processes and experiences while also building a greater coaching network who will support and challenge their thinking.  

The organisations involved are: 

Netball Mainland, Basketball New Zealand, Mainland Football, Canterbury Rugby Football Union, Canterbury Cricket and Canterbury Hockey. 

A big thank you to Riki from CRFU for hosting the introduction session last Sunday at Rugby Park.  A great first connect with the 2024 intake of coaches.
