Funding is available from NNZ and Mainland Zone to support 4 Targeted Participation Projects at Centres. The funding amount is $1,000 and must be used by the end of November 2024. Expressions of interest for projects that involve collaboration between multiple Centres are also welcomed. 

Project objectives should focus on cultivating quality netball experiences, fostering and growing participation, spearheading new initiatives, or opportunities for communities that currently have limited access to netball. 

Examples: pilot programme for walking netball or FAST5, establishing a satellite programme or venue, sideline support initiative for coaches/umpires/players, trialling a new game-day process, reviewing competition days or season length, keeping participants involved during a key drop-out window (e.g. new to Secondary School or post-Secondary School), removing barriers or intimidating factors for older 'new' participants, etc.
