On Friday 10th May, Kel and Lou headed to the coast to meet and support a new Junior Coordinator, followed up with a Woolworths futureFERNS workshop. 

Saturday was a beautiful morning on the coast and Hokitika Netball Centre held their Open Day  / Fun morning  for Woolworths futureFERNS Y1-6 . Kelly & Lou travelled over to support the event.  

We were warmly welcomed by the Centre and the community.  Our morning began with a mass NetballSmart warmup and cool down, followed by fun games and activities enjoyed by all.  The event concluded with spot prizes and a sausage sizzle. 

We then moved on to a Year 7 & 8  player information session, providing an overview of that age  group.  We supported a NetballSmart warmup and had great interactions with the netball centre and  community.
