What an incredible long weekend of netball at the Christchurch Netball Centre, featuring U16 and U18 teams from across the Mainland competing at a representative level for their Centres. The Netball Mainland Team had the privilege of supporting the events—the U16 Tupuranga Championship (hosted by Mid Canterbury and Christchurch Netball Centres) and the U18 King's Birthday Tournament (hosted by Christchurch Netball Centre). 

As a team, we enjoyed reconnecting with players, coaches, managers, and umpires from our fantastic Centres. We offered a variety of development opportunities for both coaches and umpires to enhance the game play. 

We were fortunate to have Leigh Gibbs join us for the weekend, allowing us to collaborate with coaches in an observational role. The support from umpire coaches and umpire coach developers was outstanding, ensuring comprehensive learning opportunities for all aspects of the game we love.
