With the U18 National Champs just two weeks away, preparations by all attendees are well underway! Just as there is a process for appointing coaches to teams and selecting players for attending teams, there is also a process for appointing umpires to officiate at the event. 

This is the first opportunity in 2024 for those involved to be seen at a National tournament and showcase what Mainland is made of! We are incredibly proud to announce that 10 umpires from Mainland have been selected by the Mainland Umpire Selection panel to represent us at this fantastic event. 

The following umpires will represent Mainland at the 2024 NNZ U18 Championships:

Congratulations to these umpires and everyone attending the event. I look forward to being there to support the coaches and umpires throughout the four days of play. A big thank you also goes out to the Centres for their support with coaching beforehand and handling logistics for the event for the umpires.
