In June, Kelly, Kiana, and Lou travelled to the Top of the South to visit the Marlborough, Nelson, and Motueka Netball Centres. 

Marlborough warmly welcomed us for their Woolworths futureFERNS programme, where the team assisted by umpiring a FF game. It was wonderful to see so many participants enjoying themselves with both new and old friends. 

Saturday morning was a clear and bright morning at the courts, with the Mainland Team supporting junior umpires and engaging positively with the netball centre and community. Kiana finished off by educating the Marlborough Netball U18 team on tournament preparation before they head to U18 Nationals this month. 

Our time spent in Motueka was invaluable, as we assisted with their Volunteer Management Plan and supported NetballSmart with their Player Development Programme.
