Our Partnership group, Huihuia Kia Tupu from Hurunui, Kaikōura and North Canterbury Netball Centre’s ran a development day in February for 50 Rangitahi from all 3 centers.  This was led by the Netfit Christchurch team and was a roaring success with amazing player feedback.  It was fabulous to be able to offer some pre-season development for this age group.  Thank you to Netball NZ for supporting the partnership group & allowing us to provide these opportunities to our members.

NCNC has had another fabulous start to our Player Development Programme for Year 7-8 and Under 14.  The impeccable organisation and planning from our coordinator, Roni Dinnan, and the fabulous attitude and commitment of our coaches has led to 4 weeks of learning, development and fun.  This has provided a great opportunity for our Tamariki to learn new skills and get used to netball again before the start of the season.  Unfortunately, the first day was a bit wet, but the commitment from the coaches and participants was amazing.

The next week was the opposite with temperatures hitting 29°-30° degrees. The final day was a fun festival of games for the year 7 & 8 group.
