NetballSmart has slowly been working around with schools and centres as we move into the season! The buy in across the zone has been tremendous and will continue as the season gets underway I’m sure!

We have been as far as Nelson over this last month to be visible in our centres and show our support. Attending the Geraldine Hodgson tournament day while we were up there which was a fantastic day to be part of and see the talent across the area. Warm ups and team cool downs were on show as well which was fantastic. There has also been multiple trips into schools as they gear up for their grade tournaments after the school holidays.

We have also had multiple DPC workshops occurring in Mid Canterbury and Nelson upskilling our coaches in the zone to help prepare our athletes to be in the best possible physical capacity to meet the demands of the game of netball.

We have also been out recently helping Selwyn netball centre with their u16 development day upskilling our athletes on safe jump and landing techniques along with having good recovery protocols in place post-match and tournaments.
