The Mainland Zone Festival Day, hosted by Kaikōura Netball Centre at the brand-new Mainpower Takahanga Multisport Courts, was a huge success. The energy and excitement throughout the day reflected the spirit of grassroots netball. 

Parents loved how well-organised and enjoyable the event was, and the players' smiles said it all. 

With beautiful sunny weather, the day was even more memorable. It was especially great to see so many boys getting involved, showcasing netball’s growing inclusivity. 

Adding to the fun, coaches embraced creativity with costumes, tutus, and dress-ups, ensuring that everyone felt welcomed and engaged. Each team had its own signature colour, creating a lively and vibrant atmosphere. 

With such positive feedback from players, parents, and organisers, there's strong support to make this an annual event. 

A big thank you to Woolworths for their support in helping more kids get involved in netball.
