The annual Tasman Trophy brought together the top two Premier teams from Nelson and Blenheim for a brilliant display of high-performance netball. With strong competition on court and supportive crowds off it, the event also provided great opportunities for growth — not just for players, but also for coaches and umpires. 

Four Netball New Zealand umpire assessors were on hand, offering valuable feedback and recognising excellence — including the awarding of the NZC badge to local umpire Mandy. A highlight off the court was a Game Analysis coaching workshop, where coaches had the chance to break down live match play and deepen their tactical understanding. The event was a true celebration of connection, development, and netball in Te Tauihu.
