As we begin our off-season with netball, NetballSmart has been out and about visiting centres, engaging on what we can do to develop and support the programme moving forward, along with supporting our centre communities.
Recently, we travelled to Blenheim and across to the West Coast, connecting with our respective centres in those areas and have had some good discussions around what Netballsmart looks like for our respective centres.
There has also been some great work going on behind the scenes with the work on a special project I am doing, with the hope of it launching in pre-season next year. Stay tuned!
As we move into the off-season of Netball, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all centres and schools for your engagement this year and grateful to be given the chance to connect with you all and look forward to doing the same again next year. 😊
If any secondary schools would like to meet in your offseason to plan and set dates for 2026, I would be happy to make time to visit and discuss how we can support you for your 2026 seasons across the school.
I look forward to engaging with you and exploring what we can do in NetballSmart to make dates for 2026 a success and further develop our plan with your centres 😊.
Social NetballSmart Warm-Up
Doing a warm-up reduces your risk of injury by 60%. Netball injuries can be severe and take a long time to recover from which is why it is so important to prepare your body to play!
You can find these on our website under Resource/Training https://netballsmart.co.nz/netball-smart/resources.html
If you need any support from NetballSmart, not only in the warm-up space but with anything relating to netball, please get in contact with Nick from the NetballSmart team to lock in dates for 2026
