It was great to support Buller, West Coast and Hokitika Netball Centres at the Te Tai O Poutini Summer Camp last month. Between our Mainland team, our guest coach Lee McKenzie, and our umpire coach Vicki Harrington, we facilitated sessions for umpires, coaches, U16 players and U14 players from across the Coast.

Sessions included fundamental skills, rules in action, gameplay, nutrition, and more – giving participants a wide range of learnings to strengthen their game on and off the court.

A real highlight for us was the commitment and enthusiasm shown by everyone involved. We had a packed schedule, and the athletes, coaches and umpires were engaged in every session.

We thoroughly enjoyed being on the Coast and supporting the continued growth of Netball in the region. Thank you to Buller Netball Centre for hosting us, and to all three Centres for their mahi. We look forward to continuing to support this partnership and Netball development opportunities on the Coast. Thank you to Lee McKenzie and Vicki Harrington for joining us – your expertise, time, and insight were greatly appreciated by all involved.
