What an exciting few weeks it has been as our Go Rentals Mainland SHNL Team are now four games deep into their short SHNL season, with four wins under their belt. It has been humbling and heartening to see the level of commitment and effort that has gone into this campaign – the staff (Head Coach Geni Ahtong, Assistant Coach Anna Kennedy, Physiotherapist Kylie Cox and Strength and Conditioning assistant Keely Erskine) have gone above and beyond to ensure they have amazing athletes on and off the court and the athletes train like it is their full time job – their commitment, skills and fitness is at a very high level and we are immensely proud of them.

They began their campaign with a 66-49 win at home against the Waikato Bay of Plenty, travelled to Auckland for a tough tussle against the Comets team where they took that game 54-43 and then had a very close encounter against the Central Manawa in Palmerston North winning by ONE goal.

They played their last home game on Sunday against the Northern Marvels, a team they narrowly beat in their pre season game in Auckland. The team delivered a convincing 59-35 win. They will complete their season in Invercargill playing the Southern Blast. We wish them every success for their last outing!
