There is plenty happening in the Pathways space this August, with some exciting events coming up for our incredible wāhine: 

METS vs SETS 

📅 16 August 📍 Christchurch Netball Sports Centre ⏰ 12.00pm 

The Mainland Emerging Talent Squad (METS) will take on the South Emerging Talent Squad (SETS) in what promises to be an exciting clash between two talented regional programmes. This match provides a fantastic opportunity for athletes to showcase their development and continue building towards future representative honours. 

Celebrating NNL Success 

📅 23 August 

Mainland Netball will also come together later this month to celebrate an historic achievement at the National Netball League Prizegiving. 

After securing back-to-back National Netball League titles, winning both the 2025 and 2026 championships, there is much to celebrate. The evening will acknowledge the outstanding contributions of players, coaches, management, support staff, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters who have played a vital role in the team's success. 

With Lose and Isabella Fainga'anuku returning from representing Tonga at the Commonwealth Games, the prizegiving has been timed to ensure they can join the celebrations upon their return. We look forward to recognising and honouring our entire NNL village, whose collective commitment, passion, and hard work have helped create a championship-winning environment.
