Behind every Netball community are dedicated people who have generously given their time, knowledge and energy to help the game thrive. The Netball New Zealand Service Awards are an opportunity to recognise and celebrate those who have made a significant contribution to our game at local, national and/or international level.

Netball Centres can submit nominations, with endorsement from the Zone. Centres are encouraged to begin the process early by identifying deserving individuals, gathering their service history and achievements, and gaining support from their Board or Committee. Nominations should tell the story of their contribution, the impact they have made and how their service has enhanced Netball.

Nominations must be completed using the Service Award Nomination Form, available here, and be accompanied by the nominee’s Netball CV.

Nominations must reach Netball New Zealand by 5pm on Friday 2 October 2026. Late applications will not be accepted.

Now is the time to start conversations within your Centre and recognise the people whose dedication has made a lasting difference to our game. The Zone is happy to support Centres with nominations and endorsements.
