Passing to space.

Pass to where your teammate is going, not where they’ve been. A well-timed ball ahead of the player allows them to receive it without breaking stride and keeps the attack moving.

Release it too early and the ball may win the race. Too late and the defender is back in the contest. Timing, accuracy and control make all the difference.
