To wrap up the winter season, Amelia and I headed to sunny Motueka to support the Woolworths futureFERNS Zone Festival Day. It was a fantastic day filled with face painting, a banner parade, music, prizes, and plenty of great energy.

Thanks to Woolworths, players stayed fuelled with fresh fruit and snacks throughout the day. The biggest highlight was seeing so many smiling faces enjoying netball and celebrating the end of the season together.

After the festival, we got to attend the Motueka Netball Centre Junior Prizegiving, where teams, umpires, and representative players from across the community were recognised for their achievements and contributions throughout the year.

A huge thank you to Steph, Shinade, Haley, and the entire Motueka Netball team for delivering such a fun, welcoming, and well-run event. Thank you also to the Motueka Netball community for bringing the energy and showcasing your fantastic netball skills, and of course, thank you to Woolworths for helping make the event bigger and better than ever.

We loved being part of the day and can't wait to see where the Woolworths futureFERNS Zone Festival Day will be held next year. Keep your eyes peeled!
