Star helpers

An hour-long Year 1&2 Star Helpers Course will be held on Wednesday (October 11) from 6.15pm at the Waiwhakaiho Courts. This course is compulsory for anyone who is coaching or a Star helper of a year 1&2 netball team.   

ANZ futureFERNS

ANZ futureFERNS Year 1&2 netball begins on Wednesday (October 18) from 3.45 to 5.45pm at Star Gym, 41 Tukapa St, Westown, behind Westside Grille.

Skills day

Erika Burgess-Maifea will run a skills day at the Inglewood courts on Wednesday (October 11).

Umpires named

Araana Te Arikitama and Shontae Broughton-Malcolm have been selected to Umpire at a Netball Central Zone Talent Development Programme day in Hawera next Saturday (October 14). They are two of a number of umpires from individual centres throughout the zone to have been selected.

Holiday programme

A Tri code holiday programme featuring netball, rugby and basketball commences tomorrow (October 10) for three days in Hawera, Stratford and Waitara respectively. The sessions cost $5 for each student and run from 9am to 3pm.
