With the introduction of the newly revamped NetballSmart Dynamic Warm Up in December 2024, this has been the focus of many player and coach workshops across the Zone in early 2025.
 
From Player Development Programme PDP) sessions within centres, to school visits, and small group coach workshops, we have been rolling out the warm up out with enthusiasm!

When we are confident in how to deliver something, we will do it more often, with more energy, and with an ability to become creative with it. This is so true of the warm up, which provides the best foundation to prepare our players and umpires to take the court ready to smash it.
 
Whilst the structured warm up is the most important part, at NetballSmart we are also very passionate about incorporating some solid, intense, and netball-specific drills and activities pre game too. As a coach, you can always ask yourself, is 4-corners really preparing my players to play the high impact, fast and agile, and sometimes chaotic, game of netball? Let’s get creative!
