We are really pleased that Netball NZ has confirmed that the NNL will go ahead in 2026. Further details and the draw will be released at a later date.
MIM ADVANCE AND ONTON NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT CAMPS
15 players from our Zone were named by NNZ at the end of November as invitees to the National Development Camps (NDC) held by NNZ in January, in the hope of gaining a NZSS trial later in 2026.

The majority of these athletes will be meeting/training weekly prior to Christmas as a group to improve their fitness and prepare themselves well from attendance at these camps.

Pathways are also excited to announce our newly formed Emerging Talent Squad mad up of players who are heading into first and second years out of school who have been in a NNZ or MIM Advance program.

NETBALL WAIBOP FITNESS TESTING ROADSHOW
Another exciting initiative coming up is combined with Sam Winders from Netballsmart – we will be holding 3 Zone fitness testing roadshows in March 2026. Saturday 7 March in Rotorua, Saturday 14 March in Cambridge, and Saturday 21 March in Tauranga. Capped at 40 participants per day. Participants will be tested on 6 different tests and can see how they measure up against NZSS, NNL, and ANZP standards.
