Terry Hobin to manage NRFL till the end of 2018 Season

Northern Football Federation confirmed today the secondment of Terry Hobin to the Auckland Football Federation as the NRFL Competitions Manager until the end of the 2018 season.

Hobin has been the Competitions Manager at NFF since 2000 and has a wealth of experience managing competitions, as well as being well versed in the NRFL, explained NFF Chief Executive John Limna

“NFF have been working closely with Auckland Football regarding all cross federation competitions and with the NRFL season well underway, continuity and understanding of the competition is needed. Terry was the logical choice to step into the NRFL Competitions role as he can hit the ground running”

Alongside Terry’s secondment to AFF, Competitions Officer, Aidan Wong, will be taking over the responsibilities of the Competitions Manager for NFF. Having been part of NFF’s Competitions team for two seasons, Wong will now lead the Competitions Team for the remainder on the 2018 winter season.

“Aidan has proven himself as a diligent and capable Competitions Officer and I’m delighted to give him this opportunity to take a leadership role at NFF,” said Limna

These changes will take effect as of Monday 21 May, 2018 and will be in place to the end of the 2018 season.
