Royal New Zealand Lifesaving and Surf Lifesaving are both represented at Napier Girls' High School.

RNZL: Term 1 - the girls can complete the following badges:

• Year 9 - Bronze Star
• Year 10 - Bronze Medallion
• Year 11 - Award of Merit
• Year 12/13 - Distinction
• 2024 Fees: $ 25 per badge

Surf Lifesaving: NGHS Surf Lifesaving team have been the overall winner of the Girls trophy at the HB Surf Lifesaving Champs for many consecutive years. Our girls are skilled and confident in the water and proudly represent their school each year.

• Term 3 - HB Interschool Surf Lifesaving competition (HB Pool champs)
• Teams: Registrations will be taken for the school team in Term 3
