NORTHERN ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL CLUB
Founded in 1888, Northern is the oldest continually operating club in the Southern hemisphere. Based in North Dunedin and playing in the Southern Football Federation of New Zealand, Northern has 11 senior teams — Men's and Women's Premiership sides, Men's Reserves, Third, and Fourth grade teams, and Men's over 35's and 45's in the masters grade. Our junior club caters to all ages and skill levels, with boys and girls teams ranging from 6th grade through to Youth grade, and U15 and U17 youth development teams. The club also has an U19 team who form to compete in end of season tournaments. No matter who you are — a competitive player seeking to challenge at the top local level, a casual fan looking to give social football a try, a new parent with a child playing for the first time, or a fan of football in the North Dunedin community — welcome to Northern! To the players, parents, fans, and friends of North Dunedin, we open our clubrooms from 4:30 PM til late on the Garden's Pavilion (1 Bank St) every Saturday during the football season. We'd love to see you back at our club to celebrate North Dunedin football together!
