Auckland Football Federation (AFF) and Northern Football Federation (NFF) are delighted to announce the appointment of Paul Smith to the position of Referee Support Officer.

In the part-time role reporting to Referee Development Officer Steve Trim, Paul will focus on the provision of courses as well as delivery and support programmes to established referees within the Federation pathway.

Having been in discussion regarding the role since the end of 2018, AFF and NFF have created the position in order to better target service and delivery of refereeing support to meet the needs of both entry level officials and those already within the referee community of AFF and NFF.

Paul has begun in his new role and his contact details will be distributed shortly.
