Yesterday New Zealand Football confirmed the appointment of Robert (Bob) Patterson joining the New Zealand Football Executive Committee.
Patterson served as Auckland Football’s Chairman for the past two years and stepped in as interim CEO for eleven months.
AFF President Ross Robertson QSO JP FNZIM says “Leadership is hard to define, but you know it when you see it.”
“Bob Patterson’s time as Chairman of AFF has seen him appointed to the NZF Executive Committee.”
“The Elected Members decision is recognition of his many years of service, and good for the future of the game in New Zealand.”
Patterson will assume the role as AFF Chair in the immediate future to ensure a smooth transition before stepping down.
