We're excited to be able to confirm that the annual sports awards and Hall of Fame induction will be held at the Waitaki Community Recreation Centre on Monday 30 May. 

Tickets available soon - $70 per ticket / $650 per table of 10

We have some outstanding finalists to acknowledge and celebrate and we're looking forward to hosting the event. Many thanks to our wonderful sponsors for their continued support.

The Network Waitaki Sports Awards cover achievements during the 12 month period from 1 January to 31 December. 

Nominations open annually on 1 October and close at 5.00pm 30 November. ​​​​​​​North Otago Sports Bodies Assn promotes & recognises achievement, participation & contribution to sports in North Otago through the annual N.O. Sports Awards, the annual sports volunteers acknowledgments and the NO Sports Hall of Fame (Rec Centre).

Events:

Network Waitaki Annual Sports Awards - this event is held in March every year 

Local Sports Volunteers - an annual function / feature acknowledging our local sports volunteers

Waitaki Sports Hall of Fame - annual inductions. This is housed at the Waitaki Community Recreation Centre


The primary objects of the association are to:

a) promote sport and recreational activities in the North Otago region

b) encourage participation and achievement in sport and recreational activities in North Otago

c) recognise achievers at appropriate functions

d) represent and promote the interests of members of the Association

e) do any act or thing incidental or conducive to the attainment of any of the above objects
