CARTERS TYRE SERVICE  - TOP TUNA  - 2022/23 SEASON

Carters Tyre Service have kindly sponsored a $1,500 Tyre prize for Heaviest Tuna of the 2022/23 Season. The winner will be the Club Member that catches the Heaviest Tuna in the 2022/23 Season that meet these rules.

General Rules

• There is one prize only – for the heaviest weighed Tuna over the Season. Eligible Tuna species include Skipjack, Slender, Albacore, Yellowfin, Butterfly, Bigeye and Bluefin.
• The angler must be a paid up 2022-2023 NPSUC Full member prior to leaving the harbour. Associate and Day members do not qualify. There is no additional entry fee for Full members.
• Tuna must be caught within the NPSUC boundaries and applies to any Tuna caught in the 2022/23 season up to 30 June 2023.
• The Tuna must be caught under NZSFC Fishing Rules and Regulations – meaning that a rod/reel with suitable IGFA line class and lure configuration must be used.
• Tuna must be presented to the NPSUC weighmaster meeting these rules (including verified equipment).
• Boats must leave from and return to Port Taranaki.

The Club’s decision/draw regarding the ‘Top Tuna’ will be final and no further discussion or correspondence will be entered into.

The voucher will be presented to the winner at the Annual Prizegiving with details including photos of the winning Angler and fish to be posted on the club’s and sponsors website and Facebook page. By receiving the prize you consent to the sharing of the Catch details including Angler within the wider community. The Voucher is limited to $1500 and valid for GT Radial or Falken tyres from the New Plymouth Carters Tyre Service store and must be redeemed within 6 months of receiving the voucher.
