North Wellington FC Appoints Curtis Jones as New Men’s First Team Head Coach


North Wellington FC is delighted to announce Curtis Jones as our new Men’s First Team Head Coach, for the upcoming season.

Curtis will begin engaging with the club after completing his commitments with Miramar Rangers in the Men’s National League.

With coaching experience across some of Wellington’s most respected football environments, Waterside Karori, Ole Football Academy and Miramar Rangers, Curtis brings a rich blend of senior team coaching experience, academy leadership, and youth development expertise.

His background includes:

  • Senior coaching and assistant roles in both Central League and National League
  • Extensive academy and TDP leadership across multiple high-performance environments
  • Development of players across U15–U19, reserve teams, and senior squads
  • A New Zealand Football B Licence
  • Strong existing relationships across Wellington football

 

Club President Fraser Kirby says Curtis’ appointment represents a key milestone in the club’s plans for growth and success heading into 2026.
