When? Saturday 21 November, 2 pm kick off (please note this differs from what was previously advertised)

Where? Seddon Fields, Auckland

What happened last time the two sides met?

Waitakere United opened their 2019/20 ISPS Handa Premiership campaign winning 3-1 at home and followed that up with a 4-3 victory in the return leg.

What they say

Paul Hobson, Waitakere United head coach:

“The game should be a big test against some of the best young players in the country and a fully professional set up. We’re full of confidence but not over-confident.”

Paul Temple, Wellington Phoenix Reserves head coach:

Waitakere have a pretty steady squad from last season So they're going to progress because they've got that continuity and time together. Hobbo and Malcolm are good coaches, so they're well organized and they know that system well.

“Looking at the statistics, we were the youngest in the league last week by average age, and they were second youngest. They've got a lot of young Kiwi players and they're doing some really good things there. And look, anyone that wins 4-0 on the first day is going to be feeling confident and we're going to have to go up there, it's a hard place to go and play. It'll be a really tough game, but there's going to be lots of young players out there. It's going to be a good spectacle and we're looking forward to it.”
