Q. How do I find the page for our club/school on Sporty.co.nz?

Find it through the directory at Click here . You can then bookmark your page in your browser if you wish.

Q. We use a website from another provider. Do we need to change our website?

No. You will need to login to Sporty.co.nz to manage your rugby registrations. However, you can keep using your existing website regardless of whether it is from Sporty or another provider. However, you are likely to want to upgrade your website to one from Sporty once you see how much more they have to offer, including the ability to display live draws, results and standings just relating to your club or school. Q. Will our historic registration data be available through Sporty.co.nz

Yes, all the fields of data from your historic official NZ Rugby registrations will automatically be visible to you through Sporty. If you want to archive old registration records from previous seasons that also include fields of data that you may have added locally, you can export these to Excel with just one click.

Q. Can we use our own web address for a website from Sporty?

Yes.

Q. What other sports codes have partnered with Sporty.co.nz?

Sporty.co.nz is the official partner of all the largest sports codes in New Zealand: NZ Rugby, Netball NZ, NZ Football and Touch NZ.

Q. Will training be provided?

Yes, Union staff can be contacted directly to train club and school administrators.

Q. Can our club/school use paper forms or some other system to register players and coaches?

​No. All rugby registrations must be done through Sporty.co.nz since it is connected live to the NZ Rugby database.

Q. What does it cost?

Online Registration is provided by New Zealand Rugby free of charge to rugby clubs and schools. It is separate to other online tools or services that you may elect to receive from Sporty.co.nz.

Q. Are the details entered online secure?

Yes. The New Zealand Rugby registration details people submit online are only accessible to the authorised administrators at your Club or School, Provincial Union and New Zealand Rugby.

Q. Can our coaches and referees also register online?

Yes, Referees and coaches can now register online. Coaches are still required to attend the RugbySmart or Small Blacks courses facilitated by your Provincial Union.
