Medium tramp along the lower section of Ernie’s Track – approx. 5 hours. Mostly flat but could be quite muddy in places. Also one river crossing depending on time.

Easy /Medium mainly street walking. Short bush section with some steep steps. Lovely views. 2 hours plus lunch

Easy flat walk on varied surfaces – gravel, bush track, concrete and grass. Approx. 2 hours plus lunch en route.
NB Longer day due to extra travel time with possible visit to Mitre10 café for after walk coffee.

Sunday 17 December Walk Onehunga to Granny’s Bay
With lunch this is a 2 hour plus walk – hilly and some stairs. Footpath walk, some history and stories on the walk

Bring your own meat to cook and either a salad or dessert to share. Bring your chair or rug.

Thursday 4 January Tramp Tawharanui
Moderate tramp starting at the lagoon carpark on the right about 100m inside the predator-proof fence. Up the Mangatawhiri Track to the West End Track and down along the beach to Anchor Bay for lunch and swim before tackling the North Coast Track to the Ecology Trail and back along some of the South Coast Track. About 4 hours plus lunch and swim.

Come and walk around Pt Chev. Easy walk for about an hour, with or without a dog, followed by coffee at local café.

Thursday 18 January Tramp South Kaipara
Easy tramping on the Kaipara South Heads. This is a three part day visiting Lakes Rototoa/Ototoa, Te Rau Regional Park and Omokorito Bay Reserve.

Sunday 21 January Walk St Heliers/Kohimarama
Along the beach and up to McDill's Farm, and then through Dingle Dell - fabulous regenerating bush and birdlife.
Bring togs if conditions are favourable for swimming.

Monday 22 January Dog Walk Beachhaven
This is an easy flat track amongst trees, then down to the beach for a paddle, with or without a dog. Teddy is our “mascot” presently, but there could be another dog joining us. Yet to be confirmed.
BYO lunch and I will provide a cuppa and cake at my house at the end of the walk.
