Onehunga Mangere United AFC is seeking a passionate and dedicated Under 23s Coach to join our club. As a club with a rich history and a commitment to developing young talent, we are looking for an individual who can inspire and guide our up-and-coming players to reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement training programs for the Under 23s team.
- Plan and execute effective match strategies to enhance team performance and achieve desired results.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team culture, promoting sportsmanship, discipline, and respect among players.
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Football and the 1st Team Head Coach to ensure a seamless integration of coaching philosophies and player development pathways.
- Provide regular feedback and support to players, helping them identify areas for improvement and setting individual goals.
- Attend club meetings, coaching workshops, and other relevant events to stay updated with the latest coaching techniques and trends.
Requirements:
- Minimum C License
- Previous coaching experience, preferably with youth or development teams.
- Strong knowledge of the game, including current coaching methodologies and player development principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire young players.
- A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive team environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as per training and match schedules.
