The major children's athletic competitions in New Zealand are the North Island and South Island Colgate Games. These are each held over 3 days in January at a different location each year. Over 1000 athletes from throughout the North Island (aged 7 to 14) compete at the North Island event and a similar number at the South Island event.
Entries close for both North and South Island Colgate Games during November 2023. (No late entries accepted).
The North Island Colgate Games will be held at Mt Smart Stadium in Auckland on 5th, 6th and 7th of January 2024. The event is open to all club 7-14 year olds (as at 31st December 2023).
The South Island Colgate Games will be held the following weekend on the 12th, 13th and 14th January 2023 at the Caledonian Ground in Dunedin.
You need to be registered to attend these events. No late entries are accepted so please make this a priority if you're planning to enter.

The 'Conditions of Entry' lists the events that are on for each age group over the three days. For further information please go to the Athletics NZ webpage.
Any athlete from grade 7 to 14 is able to attend and compete in up to 5 events (plus relays), so we will be encouraging as many people as possible to join us at this major event.
PAYMENT
Once entry forms have been received, payment is made to Onslow Athletic Club late November / early December. We will contact you with account details.
If the event is cancelled due to Covid restrictions or Covid related risk, a full refund will be provided.
