Golf Croquet is a game with a long history and there has been a recent resurgence of interest at all levels. It is a game that all the family can participate in. Compared with Association Croquet, it has simpler rules and is more interactive (each turn is just a single stroke), but it requires a similar level of accuracy and tactical awareness. Generally a game is played over a period of 45 minutes.
The players follow a course contesting each hoop in turn; as soon as one hoop is scored all players move on to contest the next hoop - a simple idea that leads to rich tactical thinking.
If you are interested in trying the game, we suggest that you visit the Papakura Croquet Club in Chapel St Papakura or phone a contact.
